For the beginning one hundred years of its history Albion Park Public School served a predominantly accessible knit rural community. In the seventies the nature of the school community changed. Fresh housing developments occurred to cater for a mostly industrial and associated services workforce. The new residents represent a greater diversification of occupations. The years 1980 to 2006 have seen a sustained amplify in housing developments and a loss of many of the conventional dairy farms around the township. Community services such as the swimming pool, library, sports field, museum and the opening of the Albion Park Lofty School during 1991 have made Albion Park an lovely store to retire as healthy as bring up a family. Consequently, many younger families have moved into the township, considerably increasing enrollments at Albion Park Public School. It is foreseen that the continued popularity and attractiveness of Albion Park, will place increasing pressure on the current Albion Park Primary school site and services. In 2005 six worn style demountables were replaced by three dual room buildings called mars. The mars are state of the art’ in terms of facilities and space and the children and teachers are jubilant with their fresh rooms. In 2006, as a result of a triumphant submission to the federal Investing in our schools project, we were qualified to fund the construction of a third Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA). This means we now have meaningful shelter for all students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our school today has an extraordinary reputation throughout the community and beyond. We actively encourage parents to encourage our teaching and learning programs. Our parent body meets regularly and there is a high smooth of involvement and promote from our parents and volunteers in classrooms, the library, assisting in sports’ coaching, children’s book club and the canteen.
